Hoya Chouke
Hoya Chouke
-
Hoya ‘Chouke’ is a beautiful and uncommon variety prized for its thick, glossy green leaves with faint veining and its stunning clusters of star-shaped flowers. The blooms feature soft pink petals with a darker pink center and are highly fragrant. It's a cross between the Hoya carnosa and Hoya serpens, and is also known as the "fraternal twin" of the Hoya Mathilde. The Hoya chouke produces fragrant clusters of large, white, fuzzy flowers that are star-shaped and up to 15 mm in diameter. The flowers have an orange center and white corona, and can last up to five days.
Care Instructions: Thrives in bright, indirect light and requires a well-draining soil mix. Allow soil to dry out between waterings, as Hoyas prefer to avoid consistently wet conditions. Enjoys warm, humid environments but adapts well to normal indoor humidity levels. Provide a support or hanging container to highlight its cascading vines.
Pet Safety: Non-toxic to cats and dogs, making it a pet-friendly option for households with pets.
