Astrophytum myriostigma cv. Kikko nudum is a rare and highly collectible cactus valued for its sculptural, geometric form. Unlike the typical Bishop’s Cap, this cultivar develops pronounced, angular tubercles along its ribs, giving it a striking, armor-like texture. The “nudum” form lacks the white flecking seen on standard Astrophytum, leaving the smooth green skin exposed, which enhances its architectural symmetry. Mature plants may produce silky, yellow star-shaped flowers at the crown, adding to their ornamental appeal.
